1 Tropea red onion
extra virgin olive oil
Cut the onion into wedges, being careful not to cut it to the end. The onion must remain compact during the cooking process.
Pour some extra virgin olive oil on the onion.
Then add balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to your taste.
Cover the pan with some tinfoil.
Bake for about 20 minutes in a preheated 200° degrees oven.
Remove the tinfoil, cook for another 10 minutes and serve it.
