Description

Today we bring to the table a typical Indian recipe based on chicken and vegetables. It'a a rich and aromatic dish with a strong flavor and ethnic perfumes thanks to the presence of curry, a mixture of toasted spices in a pan and pounded in a mortar. A typical curry consists of cayenne pepper, cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, cloves, fenugreek, nutmeg, black pepper and ginger. Its beneficial properties are varied. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to relieve fatigue, it contains various vitamins, including A, B D, E, K; mineral salts: magnesium, calcium, manganese, potassium, zinc, sodium, selenium, phosphorus, copper and iron. But, it is not recommended for those suffering from gastritis, because the presence of pepper can increase its inflammatory state.

Ingredients
  • 800 g of boneless skinless chicken breast

  • 4 zucchini

  • 8 carrots

  • 6 spring onions

  • spelled flour qb

  • 150 g of white greek yogurt

  • curry

  • ginger

  • extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 bouillon cube

  • 300 g basmati rice

  • salt

  • pepper

Preparation
Chicken curry

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium low heat. Flour the chicken breast with the spelled flour and cook for 2-3 minutes, browning it a little.

Meanwhile peel and wash the carrots and zucchini, then grate them.

Put the chicken aside and, in the same pan, sauté the spring onions together with the vegetables.

Cook for about 15 minutes adding a bouillon cube, pepper and a little ginger.

Add the chicken pieces and finish cooking.

Then add 150 g of white Greek yogurt and curry.

Serve with some basmati rice and enjoy your meal!
